Smart office lighting with Casambi

A record-breaking Casambi network
This project stands out for its size, with over 800 Casambi nodes, making it one of the largest installations of its kind in Denmark. This extensive network seamlessly controls all luminaires, including the Cecid, Neo Track and custom design luminaires, all mounted on a 3-phase track system. The project sets a new standard for smart office lighting and proves how technology can improve even the most complex systems.
The vision: low glare and an inviting atmosphere
The main goal of the project was to create a workplace that is both functional and inviting. By prioritising low glare solutions, the lighting design minimises eye strain and improves comfort for employees who spend long days in the office. At the same time, warm, cosy light tones create a less clinical and more welcoming atmosphere, making the office a place where people want to be.
Carefully selected luminaires
To achieve these goals, the project used two distinctive luminaires: the Cecid and Neo Track, integrated into a versatile 3-phase track system. The Cecid was chosen for its low-glare louvres, which provide precise, comfortable lighting that supports productivity without causing discomfort. The Neo Track added a sleek, modern touch with its refined design and soft, evenly distributed lighting. The flexibility of the 3-phase system allowed for seamless installation and customisability, providing a perfect balance of performance and style to meet the project's objectives.
Smart and customisable lighting scenarios
Flexibility is at the heart of this lighting system. With a fully sensor-based system, lighting dynamically adapts to the needs of the room throughout the day. Daylight-dependent control optimises energy consumption and maintains ideal light levels, improving both sustainability and efficiency. Casambi Gateways enable remote management, giving facility managers full control over settings, scenes and schedules, all from a centralised platform.
